Real Estate Document Notarization in New York

Notarizing real estate documents no longer requires a trip to an office. In New York, certain documents like disclosures and verification forms can be notarized online using Remote Online Notarization (RON), as long as they don’t involve attorney-required closings.

What Documents Are Eligible?

These real estate documents are typically acceptable for online notarization:

  • Lease agreements
  • Disclosure forms
  • Ownership verification statements
  • Landlord/tenant notices
  • Contractor affidavits

Note: We do not handle mortgage closings or loan documents. These must be completed by an attorney or licensed settlement agent in New York.

What You Need

  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Your completed real estate document as a PDF
  • Access to a camera and mic
  • Reliable internet

How It Works

  1. Begin by clicking “Start Notarization” to launch OneNotary
  2. Upload your document
  3. Complete ID verification
  4. Meet with a NY-commissioned e-notary in a secure video call
  5. Receive your notarized file via email
